
If one looks closely, there are some little Diablo die hard goodies carved into the walls of the house where the teaser takes place, including the words “no cow level.”īlizzard has stated that they believe Diablo 3’s game play style, especially combat is much better suited for a controller, and are anticipating that the PlayStation and Xbox releases will be an enormous hit with Diablo 3 fans everywhere. And if they were a tad longer they might do exactly that. Filmed in a Paranormal Activity-style, the intent of these teasers seems to be to scare the crap out of the viewer. Today, a teaser trailer for the PS3 release of Diablo 3 was thrown up on YouTube, and it did not disappoint.

Now, Diablo 3 will see release on PS3 and the Xbox 360 come this September, with a future release for the PS4 planned as well. Objectively speaking though, the game did quite well commercially, becoming the highest pre-sold game in the history of, and netted high reviews on most aggregate-score gaming sites. Combined with the mass amounts of server bottlenecking for the first month or so of play, a lot of gamers were not only disappointed, but flat out mad at Gaming titans Blizzard.
